MVP · first users · first hire

An AI app builder for startups that survives your first hire.

Get the first version in front of users this week, on your own database and in the stores, without spending the round on an agency. When it works, your developers inherit a normal codebase, not a prototype to throw away.

An MVP week

Day 1: the core

Describe the product, tick the features that matter, pick a design direction. Try it on your phone or in the browser the same hour.

Day 2: real data

Connect your Supabase project; switch sign-in on. Sorvel writes the schema and the row-level security.

Day 3: polish

Ask for the screens users will judge you by. Edit copy and pictures directly, without a generation.

Day 4: in their hands

Publish the web app on your domain, or send the mobile app to testers through TestFlight and Play internal testing.

Day 5: learn

Usage analytics on your own Supabase, crash reports in Sentry, and over-the-air fixes as feedback comes in.

What happens after the MVP

Monetise

In-app purchases and subscriptions through RevenueCat, or AdMob ads, switched on from panels.

Grow

Push notifications, deep links for campaigns, more languages from the Languages panel.

Hire

Hand over the GitHub repository. Expo and Vite projects in TypeScript need no onboarding to a proprietary tool.

Keep the speed

Developers can keep using Sorvel, or drive it from Claude Code or Cursor through the MCP server, with the same checks.

Questions

How much does an MVP cost?

Credits, not a subscription. A new account starts with 60 free credits and earns 40 more on the first database connection or publish. Each build shows its estimate before it runs, failed builds are not charged, and the History panel shows what every generation cost.

Web app or mobile app first?

Where your users already are. A web app is one link away and good for dashboards, internal tools and B2B; a mobile app is for daily habits, notifications and anything that uses the camera or location. You can build both from the same account and point them at the same Supabase database.

What happens when we hire developers?

They get a Git repository with standard Expo or Vite projects in TypeScript and one commit per generation. They can keep using Sorvel for speed, connect their own coding agent through the MCP server, or continue entirely in their editor.

Is the data ours?

Yes. Accounts and records live in your own Supabase project, with row-level security generated for you. Sorvel does not host your users' data.

Can we show it to investors before it is in the stores?

Yes. Share a time-limited read-only preview link, publish a web app to a permanent address with your domain, or put the mobile app on any phone through the QR code or a TestFlight / Play internal-test build.
