PANEL: MACHINE
Desktop-app only, and the last panel on purpose: not part of the everyday flow, but the place to look when something goes wrong. It checks that the machine your builds run on is healthy and offers one-click fixes.
THE CHECKSNode’s version (an old Node breaks builds in confusing ways), free disk space, the size of the workspace, which process holds the preview port, whether the build tools are present, and how fast a validation run currently is.
WORKSPACEThe folder on disk where this project’s files live, and the slots builds run in. “Recheck slots” re-reads them when one is stuck.
REPAIRSClearing the build cache or the Metro temporary files. They are safe to run twice and none of them touch your app’s code — clearing the build cache only blanks the preview until the next generation.
