PANEL: IN-APP PURCHASES
Lets the app you build sell things — a subscription, a paid section. This is about your app’s revenue, not Sorvel’s: the account and the keys are yours, completely separate from Sorvel’s own credit payments.
REVENUECATThe service that manages in-app purchases for you (revenuecat.com, free to start). Both stores’ billing systems are messy and different; RevenueCat sits in front of them with one dashboard for products, prices and subscribers. You create the account there; Sorvel wires your app to it.
SDK KEYSTwo public keys from the RevenueCat dashboard — an iOS key (starts with appl_) for the App Store and an Android key (goog_) for Google Play. Paste them here and the generated app can sell.
WHY NOT THE SECRET KEYAnything pasted here gets embedded in the app bundle, where anyone who downloads the app can read it. Public SDK keys are designed for that; a secret key (sk_) is not — Sorvel rejects those outright.
