MOBILE OR WEB

A project is either a mobile app or a web app, and you choose which on the home page before the first sentence. The choice is permanent for that project: the two are built from different templates, so there is no switch to flip later — start a second project instead.

WHAT A WEB APP ISA single-page app built with React, Tailwind and Vite from a locked kit of the same components the mobile kit has (lists, forms, tables, charts, dialogs, a map). It runs in any browser and is served as one page with one script and one stylesheet.
SAME WORKFLOWThe chat, checkpoints and undo, project memory, the Database, Data, Server calls, Languages and Design panels, the app identity (name, favicon and install icon), error reporting and Google sign-in work the same way. The preview shows the app at desktop, tablet and phone widths.
QUALITY CHECKAfter each generation Sorvel opens the finished app in a headless browser (the web app itself, or the phone preview of a mobile app), runs the record flow (add, list, open) and whatever else the app has (a timer, a settings switch), and inspects the layout — for web apps at desktop and at phone width. The findings appear under the turn with a “Fix the findings” chip that drafts the next prompt for you. It is a report, not a gate: it never blocks the turn and never costs credits.
GETTING IT OUTShare a preview, publish it at a permanent address (see Share a preview), push it to GitHub or download the ZIP; the ZIP builds with npm ci && npm run build anywhere.
NOT ON THE WEBPanels that only make sense for a phone are not drawn: Open on phone, Releases, Deep links, Notifications, In-app purchases, Ads. Push notifications are not available yet; a custom domain can be connected from Share a preview where the installation allows it.
