PANEL: SERVER SECRETS AND CALLS
Apps that fetch the weather, summarise with AI or send an email need an API key — and a key shipped inside an app is a key anyone can read out of it. This panel is the place those keys go instead: the call runs on your own Supabase project, with the key added there.
SECRETAn API key, stored encrypted. After saving, only the last four characters are ever shown again and the value is never sent to the app.
CALLOne fixed address with a name, a method and its headers. Your app asks for it by name; it never learns the address or the key. Placeholders let a call reference a secret, or a value the screen passes in.
EDGE FUNCTIONThe small piece of code the panel deploys into your Supabase project to run those calls. “Deploy” really deploys, and the panel says whether the deployed version still matches what you have defined — with three hand-run steps written out for anyone who would rather do it themselves.
YOUR QUOTAThe calls run on your Supabase project and spend your own API allowance; anyone using your app can trigger them. The function limits bursts, but it is not a hard cap.
